About

Built for lodges, by a lodge member.

TheSquare started inside a working lodge in Zambia. Minutes lived in email threads, the calendar lived in a WhatsApp group, subscriptions were chased by hand, and every Secretary handover meant a box of paper and a prayer.

We built a portal for our own lodge first — documents, calendar, member directory, announcements — and ran it through real meetings, real installations, and a real District programme. TheSquare is that portal, rebuilt properly as a platform any lodge can use.

The principles are simple. Your lodge, your identity — your crest, your colours, your motto, not ours. Members-only by default — nothing a lodge does on TheSquare is public, and every document and photo is served only to signed-in brethren. Priced for lodges, not for software companies — a dollar per member per year, because the point is adoption, not margin.

The platform is lodge-first but generic underneath: the roadmap includes other membership bodies — Rotary, Lions, Round Table — once the lodge experience is polished.
