- How is the price calculated?
- One annual subscription per lodge, billed in your lodge's currency — three fixed price lists (K200 · £8 · $10 per active member), never converted. Members are re-counted nightly and the total is always capped for the whole lodge: K5,000, £200 or $250. A 20-member lodge pays K4,000, £160 or $200 a year; at 25 members it reaches the cap and pays no more, however large it grows.
- How do we pay?
- By card (Visa/Mastercard) or bank transfer — one annual invoice per lodge, nothing monthly, no stored card.
- What happens when a brother resigns or joins?
- Member counts sync to billing automatically every night. Your renewal trues up to the actual number — no manual adjustments, no emails to support.
- Do I need a card for the trial?
- No. The 30-day trial starts the moment you create your lodge. Add a payment method whenever you're ready.
- What happens if we stop paying?
- The lodge goes read-only — nothing is deleted. Your data is retained for 90 days and restored in full the moment the subscription is settled. You can also export everything at any time.
- Is our data private?
- Each lodge's data is isolated at the database level with row-level security. Documents and photos live in private storage served via short-lived signed links to signed-in members only. Hosting is in the EU.
- We're not a Masonic lodge — can we use it?
- TheSquare is built lodge-first, but the underlying platform is generic. Rotary, Lions, Round Table, and similar bodies are on the roadmap — get in touch.
